[ Tea essentials ]

Today I am on my way to Stockholm for a short stay in the city. And when I am packing for a trip or a small getaway, I have to bring tea with me, since I am a little ‘addicted’ (blush) or a lot to tea.

I can’t even remember the last time that I haven’t had my daily cup of tea. Even when we’re camping in the middle of nowhere I make sure to  start a fire or find electricity to boil some water. ^_^

So here is a little peek in my tea essentials when I travel or work away from home:

  1. Green tea, preferably, Bi lo chun(碧螺春) or Longjing tea (龙井茶),
  2. Oolong tea, Tie guan yin (铁观音)
  3. Rooibos tea,
  4. a sif for the loose leaf tea,
  5. a thermometer for the temperature of the water.

When I am away, i do get some weird faces or funny questions about it, but it’s always nice to explain to people why I do bring my tea. Because to me there is nothing so relaxing or soothing as a nice cup of tea.
