[ Summer ice cream  ]

Summer is here; today it’s going to be 30 degrees, cheers to sun & warm weather. And when it’s summer it’s time for ice cream. So to enjoy summer and it’s treats even more I created 2 recipes for ice pops, one inspired by flowers and the other one by chili.

Both recipes are gluten free and dairy free. For the creamy flavour in these ice pops I used Almond milk, which really complements the fruits. If you don’t have time today to create ice cream then these recipes are also really nice to just drink as a smoothie.  Give it a go & enjoy making some ice pops!

Banana orange blossom ice pops

INGREDIENTS

(makes +/_ 6 ice pops)

  •  1 banana
  • 200 ml orange juice (from 2 oranges)
  • 1 tsp of orange blossom essence
  • 4 tbsp of Almond milk

Just blend all the ingredients together & add to your ice cups. Freeze for about 6 hours before you can enjoy eating them.

 Mango Strawberry chili ice pops

 INGREDIENTS

(makes +/- 10 ice pops)

  •  1 mango
  • 200 gram Strawberries
  • 1 red chili pepper
  • 10 tbsp Almond milk

Finely chop the chili pepper. Add this to the mango, strawberries and almond milk & blend together.  Freeze for about 6 hours.

Cheers to summer and fruity smoothie ice pops!
