[ Juice & ice pop recipe in 1 ]
I promised you guys a rooibos yoghurt recipe, but it has to wait a bit, this weekend it was super sunny, so I felt like making juices & ice creams. Next weekend it will be sunny again according to the current weather forecast, so make sure you have your ingredients ready for these lovely juices/icepops.
1 of the juices is a spicy strawberry & raspberry juice, the other one a creamy mango banana juice with the flowery taste of orange blossom. These juices are very nice to drink separately but they also taste good mixed into one juice. Last but not least, the combination is perfect for a summer feel ice-cream. Let’s get started ^_^
Mango Orange & Strawberry chili ice pops
INGREDIENTS
makes 12 to 15 icepops or juice for 4
- 1 mango
- 2 oranges
- 2 bananas
- 2 tbsp of orange blossom water
- 1/3 cup of almond milk
- 250 gram of raspberries (frozen)
- 250 gram of strawberries (frozen)
- 2 red chili peppers (without seeds)
- 1/3 cup of almond milk
Start with blending together the mango, oranges, bananas, orange blossom & almond milk. Poor the juice in a separate container, since you will use the blender for the next juice.
Blend together the raspberries, strawberries, red chili peppers and almond milk. If they don’t blend well together because of the frozen fruit, add a little bit of water. Set aside.
For the juice combination, use 1 cup of each juice, first poor in the mango juice & then the strawberry juice, with a spoon mix together.
If you want to make ice pops, with a spoon fill the ice cups with a mixture of both juices. Place the ice cups in the freezer for at least 6 hours before you can taste these lovely ice pops with a chili twist.
